  • 15 playgrounds

  • 3 beaches
  • 62 lighted fields
  • A golf course
  • And much more

While these numbers are the foundation of the Recreation Department, their vision is to create more opportunities for families to enjoy all of our facilities. Sports fields are surrounded by walking tracks, tennis courts, playground equipment, and even splash pads. We invite all citizens to come and play with us.

Services

The Recreation Department provides parks and recreation facilities for over 15 youth and adult athletic leagues as well as many school teams. Parks serve as gathering places for social function, events and activities for residents and visitors alike.

The department provides routing maintenance, grass cutting as well as construction of new amenities for county recreation facilities for areas outside of our four cities.
